Retail Grocer

We’re looking for an upbeat and hard working individual to join our shop team.

We love selling great produce and providing great service, and we are looking for people who share these qualities.

General day to day shop responsibilities:

  • Deliver excellent customer service
  • Merchandising the shop to ensure it always looks amazing
  • Handling deliveries and putting away stock
  • Making and serving coffee
  • Cutting and wrapping cheese and charcuterie
  • Ensure a high standard of hygiene is maintained throughout the shop
  • Opening and closing the shop, ensuring the shop is correctly setup for morning service and cleaning and closing the shop at the end of the day
  • Work as part of a team under a manager and supervisor to ensure the smooth running of the shop

Requirements:

  • Ability to remain calm in a busy working environment
  • Willing to constantly improve and learn new skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Previous retail experience (not essential)

Warehouse / Delivery Driver

We’re looking for an upbeat and hard working individual to join our team.

We love selling great produce and providing great service, and we are looking for people who share these qualities.

This person will be responsible for managing stock across our office, warehouse and shop as well as packing and delivering website orders.

General day to day responsibilities:

  • Processing stock deliveries at our warehouse
  • Managing the warehouse and ensuring it stays well organised
  • Liaising with the shop team to organise daily deliveries of stock to the shop
  • Processing and picking website orders for local delivery
  • Delivering website orders to customers in the local area
  • Stock management across the shop, website and office
  • Collecting orders from suppliers
  • Working with management and the shop team to deal with any stock issues which may arise
  • Maintain the warehouse to an exceptionally high standard of cleanliness and organisation in accordance with health & safety, food hygiene and organic certification requirements
  • Maintaining the stock system and carrying out weekly stock takes
  • Happy to do shifts in the shop from time to time

 Essential Skills:

  • Clean full UK driving licence and comfortable driving a van in London
  • Well organised and good at organising stock
  • Strong numeracy skills
  • Passion for good quality produce and great customer service
  • Friendly, helpful and engaging personality
  • Comfortable working with stock inventory systems
  • Happy working with both Mac and PC
  • Team player who can collaborate within the business as well as with outside suppliers and customers
  • Ability to remain calm in a busy working environment
  • Willing to constantly improve and learn new skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
