This site is operated by Trude’s Grocery Limited, a company incorporated in England, whose registered office is at The Stable Yard, 2A Morrish Road, London, SW2 4EH (registered with company number 11095129) and registered for VAT purposes with number 340068921 ("we" or "us").


TERMS OF USE

Registering With Trude’s

Please register with us, it is a must so we know who you are!  We can guarantee that all of your personal and payment details will be kept safe and are governed by a strict privacy policy - please see the separate document by clicking here.
To order from Trude’s Grocery, and before we can deliver to you, you must register with us. This is not a credit account; payment will be required upon delivery of goods. This account can be set up by following the instructions on the Website.
A few points to note:

 

  • The Trude’s Grocery product services are available only to, and may only be used by, individuals who are 18 years and older and who can form legally binding contracts under applicable law. You represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and that all registration information you submit is accurate and truthful.
  • You must ensure that the details provided by you on registration or at any time are correct and complete.
  • You must inform us promptly of any changes to the information that you provided when registering by updating your personal details, within the order deadlines specified on our Website.
  • Following your set up of an account, we will email confirmation of your account set up to you.
  • For your records, please print or save this email. For your records, please also print or save these terms and conditions for your future reference.

Book a delivery slot that suits you.


Our Grocers will deliver straight to your door. We try and keep packaging to a minimum but any that you do receive can be recycled.


Deliveries are free for orders over £40 or £5 if under.


Where Our Vans Can Travel:
Please note that delivery is only available in a limited area. We will deliver to all postcodes within a 2 mile radius of our shop in Clapham Common. We reserve the right not to deliver to all locations and we will tell you when you apply to register an account with us whether we can deliver to your address.

Other Things To Consider:


You are responsible for making suitable arrangements to receive your delivery and giving us appropriate instructions. In the event that your delivery is stolen from your doorstep or damaged while there, we do not accept liability, and will offer compensation at our discretion. We reserve the right to refuse to accept orders from any customer; considerations of delivery problems may give rise to such a refusal. Any changes to address details must be made before the order deadlines published on our Website.


We endeavour to keep your delivery day the same, but we reserve the right to change it temporarily or permanently and will tell you if we do so.
If we are unable to deliver to you, or have to deliver late, for reasons beyond our control, for example adverse weather conditions, strike actions, vehicle breakdown, traffic congestion or supplier failure, we cannot accept liability for any inconvenience or loss that this causes. We will not, of course, charge for Products unless or until we have delivered them to you.


You must inspect the Products as soon as possible after delivery and notify us promptly if you find any defects, by calling us, emailing us or writing to us at the telephone number or address shown on our Website. We will replace or refund you for defective Products. Otherwise our liability is limited.

SECTION 1 - ONLINE STORE TERMS

By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least the age of 18 and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours, quantities and images of our products that appear on our website. Due to the nature of our product the quantities displayed represent a minimum quantity and may not be 100% representative of your purchase.
We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to limit the sales of our products or Services to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or services that we offer. All descriptions of products or product pricing are subject to change at anytime without notice, at the sole discretion of us. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. Any offer for any product or service made on this site is void where prohibited.
We do not warrant that the quality of any products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you will meet your expectations, or that any errors in the Service will be corrected.

SECTION 6 – RETURNS AND CANCELLATIONS

In respect of non-perishable items, you have the right to cancel under The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (SI 2013/3134) (“CCRs”), the contract at any time until the expiry of the 14th working days after the day on which you receive the goods you ordered. Please note that you do not have a right under the CCRs to cancel orders in respect of food or other perishable items.
Any paid delivery charge will be included in your refund once we have received all (not part) of your order. Please note the delivery charge refund will be to the value of standard delivery. We will process your refund within 14 days of receipt of the returned products. You must take reasonable care of the goods while in your possession and they must be returned in a saleable condition such that they can be returned to the relevant supplier before we can issue your refund. If you wish to return non-perishable items that you have ordered, please return your order together with your name, address, signature and the date you are returning the order to the Trude’s Grocery, The Stable Yard, 2A Morrish Road, London, SW2 4EH
Products should be returned in or with any original packaging. We will arrange with you for cancelled non-perishable goods to be returned to us, at your cost, and we will credit your payment card with the price of such goods within a reasonable period from the day on which cancellation was given (provided payment has already been debited to your payment card).



SECTION 7 - ACCURACY OF BILLING AND ACCOUNT INFORMATION
We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the e-mail and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was made. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors.
You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed

We may provide you with access to third-party tools over which we neither monitor nor have any control nor input.
